A fever is scary at 2 in the morning, but most fevers are a sign the body is fighting an infection. We look for the cause, whether that is an ear infection, strep, flu, a urinary tract infection or pneumonia, using our onsite lab and X-ray, and most families leave with a plan the same day.

By Appointment : Mon to Fri : 9 AM to 8 PM || Sat & Sun : 10 AM to 6 PM
Walk-Ins accommodated based on availability.
A temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher is a fever. For babies and toddlers, a rectal temperature is the most accurate. The number matters less than how your child is acting: a child who plays and drinks once the fever comes down is usually less worrying than one who stays limp and sleepy.
More than 24 hours in a child under 2, or more than 3 days in a child 2 or older.
Fever with ear pain, a sore throat, a bad cough or a new rash.
A temperature that keeps going above 104°F (40°C), even if it comes down with medicine.
Urinary tract infections are a common hidden cause of fever in young kids. We can test urine onsite.
Fewer wet diapers, a dry mouth or refusing fluids.
You know your child best. If something feels off, come in.

Yes, for babies 3 months and older. Babies younger than 3 months with a fever should go straight to an emergency room for hospital testing.
Not usually. Most fevers can be explained by an exam and a quick test. We only order lab work or an X-ray when the result will change your child's care.
