Why Friendswood Families Choose PediSTAT

A Pediatrician at the Helm

Dr. Ragini Miryala, MD, FAAP, is board certified in pediatrics and has cared for children for more than 20 years. She leads our team and sets the standard for every visit.

Everyone in One Trip

We see babies from 3 months, school-age kids, teens and adults. If two kids and a parent are all sick, one visit can cover the whole crew.

Answers Without a Second Stop

X-ray and lab testing are right here in the clinic, so a possible fracture or a stubborn fever does not mean a second drive somewhere else.

Insurance and Payment Options

We accept TRICARE, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana and Curative, plus the CareCredit card. See insurance we accept.

Evenings and weekends are when kids seem to get sick the most. We stay open until 8 PM on weekdays and see patients on Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Friendswood ISD or Clear Creek ISD? We Can Help With Both

Friendswood is split by Clear Creek. Families who live south of the creek, on the Galveston County side, are in Friendswood ISD, where students go on to Friendswood Junior High and Friendswood High School. Families north of the creek, on the Harris County side, are in Clear Creek ISD, and most of them are zoned to Clear Brook High School, with some going to Clear Springs.

Each district and league has its own paperwork. Bring the exact form your child's school or team uses to the physical, and we will complete it during the visit. Getting it done early in the summer beats the rush right before practice starts.

Go to the ER or call 911 if:

  • Your baby is younger than 3 months and has a fever of 100.4°F or higher
  • Breathing is fast and hard, with the ribs pulling in, or the lips look blue
  • A head injury comes with vomiting, confusion or passing out
  • Someone has a seizure or will not wake up normally
  • There is a severe allergic reaction with swelling of the lips, tongue or throat
  • An adult has chest pain or pressure
