Getting Here From Dickinson
This one is easy to remember: Highway 3 almost the whole way. From central Dickinson, drive north on Highway 3 through League City and into Webster, then turn right onto Medical Center Boulevard. It is about 7.4 miles, and the drive usually takes about 15 minutes outside of rush hour.

Ball Fields, Bayou Days and School Forms
Most of Dickinson is in Dickinson ISD, with a smaller part in Santa Fe ISD. Dickinson ISD students move from elementary school through middle school (grades 4 and 5) and junior high (grades 6 to 8) to Dickinson High School. Whatever stage your child is at, we can do the school or sports physical. Bring the form your campus or league provides.
The city's youth baseball leagues play at Elva Lobit Park and Zempter Park. Sliding, collisions and line drives bring us plenty of swollen ankles, jammed fingers and sore wrists. If your player cannot bear weight, cannot move a finger normally or has pain right over a bone, an X-ray is worth it.
Dickinson Bayou runs through the city, too. After a day of fishing or paddling, clean any cut well with soap and clean water and watch it over the next few days for spreading redness or swelling.
Go to the ER or call 911 if:
- A baby under 3 months has a temperature of 100.4°F or above
- Wheezing does not ease after a rescue inhaler, or a child is too short of breath to talk
- There is repeated vomiting after a head injury, or a child seems confused or unusually sleepy
- There has been no pee in 8 hours, no tears when crying, or a very dry mouth
- A hand or foot below an injury is cold, pale or numb
- An adult has chest pain or pressure
